Figure I should submit a journal because I haven't done so in almost a year. Aside from that, not much to report.
I almost have 2,000 pageviews? That's kinda nice I guess.

Any Way The Wind Blows Ch. 6I loved the weather back in my home town. It was always warm, even as winter was coming. It meant we could actually go outside on Thanksgiving; run around, swim. Sure the water was a bit colder than you'd like, but at least it wasn't frozen over. And without the snow and with hurricane season far behind, even my beat up truck could make it over unpaved roads with ease. When the others visited, those from places with less kind winters didn't believe we could actually become the prince of a town called Bel-Air. Haha, just kidding Lydia. Here's the real chapter:

PI: Any Way The Wind Blows Ch5Temperatures in Delcambre never got below forty. At least, that's how it seemed when we visited Vann's family. Even though it was almost winter, the nights were easily warm enough to run around in T-shirts and barefoot. Well, Vann and the brothers and cousins we went out with weren't wearing shoes, and Jamie seemed fine enough with it. I couldn't bring myself to trust myself the Louisiana landscape enough to not wear shoes.PI: Any Way The Wind Blows Ch5
He'd been begged home for Thanksgiving by his mother, so in addition to his six siblings there were aunts, uncles, cousins and for the most part they were at least as rowdy as Vann got on good days. Al

To be fair, it wasn't the first time he'd said it. Of course, typically he was drunk first.PI: Any Way The Wind Blows Ch4
It was different this time, aside from the fact that Conner was sober (as far as I knew). The pause, his look. And me, standing there, my fingers resting on strings, a pick loose in my hand. From somewhere out in the audience I hear someone scream drunkenly, "Kiss him!"

PI: Any Way The Wind Blows Ch3The first two weeks of the tour were a total blur. Ten cities, thirteen hotel rooms, countless hours on the bus trying to catch sleep or entertain ourselves between shows. We'd known there wasn't going to be a lot of room and little privacy. It hadn't bothered us any, considering the time we'd spent living in close confinement with each other. Nothing new right? Turns out that the fact that it was a familiar situation didn't make it easier. It might not be so bad if Naomi and Jamie didn't keep whispering to each other and laughing, or if Vann wasn't constantly texting and calling Jayden to have really loud, uncomfortable arguments.PI: Any Way The Wind Blows Ch3
